Google is slowly but surely moving towards becoming not just the top search engine but also the internet itself. There are two aspects to this
- Optimize for Google before you do for anyone else. In fact, you can even miss out on other search engines (not all websites, just search engines) and focus on Google and you’ll be fine.
- Be wary about being in a line of work that Google can step into, especially if you are giving away all your trade secrets via Google toolbar, webmaster central, google mail, etc.
